Best Carpet Cleaning Services in Victoria BC Based on Reviews | SpeedyDry

Looking at reviews? Good. So would we. Reviews are the most honest signal available — not because every review is perfect, but because patterns across many reviews reveal what a company actually does, not what it claims to do. The question is not just "what is the star rating?" but "what do the reviews actually say about the things that matter for carpet cleaning?"

Star rating is the headline. Volume is the context. A 5.0 from 2 reviews tells you less than a 4.8 from 60 reviews. Look at both together. A high rating sustained across many reviews is more meaningful than a perfect rating from a handful. SpeedyDry has a 5.0 Google rating. You can verify the review count and recency on our Google profile.

Reviews from three years ago are less relevant than reviews from the last six months. Businesses change. Staff change. Processes change. Look for recent reviews, and look for detail. A review that says "they identified my wool carpet, used the right products, and it was dry in an hour" tells you far more than "good service, would recommend." Detail is the difference between a real review and a placeholder.

For carpet cleaning specifically, reviews should mention: drying time (was the carpet dry when promised?), results (did the carpet look and feel clean?), professionalism (was the cleaner knowledgeable and respectful?), pricing (was the quote the invoice?), fibre care (did they identify the carpet type?), and residue (did the carpet stay clean or resoil quickly?). If reviews do not mention these things, the company may not be doing them — or the reviews may not be detailed enough to tell.

A company with great carpet cleaning reviews may or may not be great at upholstery. They are different skills with different chemistry. If you need both, look for reviews that specifically mention upholstery cleaning — fabric identification, drying, and results on furniture, not just carpet.
