IT WAS GONE.

THEN IT CAME BACK.

THAT CAN BE WICKING.

When carpet is saturated and takes a long time to dry, moisture can carry dissolved soil up through the fibre backing to the surface — where it re-deposits as the carpet dries.

MOISTURE

MOVES.

As water evaporates from the carpet surface, moisture from deeper in the pile and backing is drawn upward. If soil was dissolved but not fully extracted, it travels with that moisture.

How Wicking Works

CLEANING SATURATES CARPET
SOIL DISSOLVES IN WATER
CARPET BEGINS DRYING
MOISTURE MOVES UPWARD
SOIL RE-DEPOSITS ON SURFACE

CONTROL MATTERS.

SpeedyDry's low-moisture process reduces the risk of wicking by using controlled moisture — less water means less dissolved soil travelling upward through the fibre as the carpet dries.

The SpeedyDry Approach

Less moisture. Less wicking.

01

Controlled Moisture

Minimal water applied to the fibre

02

Soil Suspended

Chemistry lifts soil without deep saturation

03

Soil Recovered

Contamination is extracted, not left to wick

04

Rapid Drying

Carpet dries fast — less time for wicking

05

Stain Stays Gone

No moisture carrying soil back to the surface

Tired of stains coming back?

Less moisture. Less wicking. Zero residue.
