CLEANING?
What Does Dry Carpet Cleaning Mean?
Dry carpet cleaning typically refers to methods that use very little or no water — such as compound cleaning or very-low-moisture encapsulation carpet cleaning. These methods can be effective for maintenance cleaning of lightly soiled carpet. SpeedyDry uses a controlled-moisture process, which is low-moisture but not completely dry. We are honest about the distinction.
DRY? LOW?
KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.
Dry vs Low-Moisture
Dry methods use absorbent compounds or very-low-moisture chemistry that crystallise soil for vacuuming. They are fast — carpet is usable almost immediately. Low-moisture methods use a small amount of solution with agitation and extraction. Low-moisture can handle moderate soil more effectively than purely dry methods. The right choice depends on soil level, carpet type, and your priorities.
Our Approach
Low-moisture. Not dry. Honest.
SpeedyDry uses controlled-moisture, low-moisture cleaning — not a completely dry method. We chose this approach because it balances effective soil removal with fast drying and fibre safety. If you are specifically looking for a dry method, we can discuss whether it is appropriate for your carpet.
